The one thing I am passionate about...
My passion in life pervades those things that are very important to me. I am passionate about soccer, whether it is playing it well, or coaching it well. I am additionally passionate about psychology. I love learning and constantly gaining new information about the field and attempting to expand my own personal growth. I am passionate about being a good counselor and working to improve my counseling interactions that provide the best atmosphere for clients. I am passionate about being a good lover and a good friend. Loyalty is of utmost importance to me and I love to spend time and go out of my way for my friends and family.
I typically spend my leisure time
I spend my leisure time being active. I love to travel, and that often includes across the state and once in awhile across the world. More often though, I spend my leisure time playing sports such as snow skiing in the winter, and boating, wakeboarding, jetskiing, and hiking in the summer. I love to take advantage of my free time to explore some place new and take on a new adventure.
The most influential person in my life has been
Honesty. I believe that the heart of any relationship resides in the ability for 2 individuals to be honest and trusting with each other. Communicating about one's deepest secrets to what happened at the office is what makes that unique bond between two people and sustains a loving relationship.
The first thing people notice about me
Often people have mentioned to me that I appear intelligent. I believe that it is something that people notice about me because I often give people the space and opportunity to talk with me and I listen and will often share my own thoughts and feelings. I think that my desire to listen and learn about others sometimes comes off as intelligence.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Barack Obama's novels, Dreams from My Father and The Audacity of Hope, were two stimulating and enjoyable reads. The first was Obama's autobiography, describing his life at times in detail, explaining where he gained his desire and education to become a political figure. The second explains many of the political positions he has obtained through his political career and where he sees our country headed into the future. After completing the first, there was no doubt in my mind that I would support him as the democratic candidate for Presidency.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My parents/family
- My education
- My close relationships with my friends
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I can be spontaneous, random, and silly. I often come off as quiet, thoughtful, and introverted (all of which I am). But I possess many sides and enjoy being all parts of me.
Friends Describe me as
Ambitious, Good listener, Intelligent, Thoughtful
