More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My family and having a sense of humor. Your family is there no matter how badly you mess up, and life is too short not to laugh.

I typically spend my leisure time

I tend to read a good bit. I often meet friends for coffee or dinner, stay at home and harrass my dog (who would prefer that i let him sleep).

The most influential person in my life has been

I believe that a person has to be able to stand on their own before they can stand beside someone else. I am looking for someone that is capable of doing their own thing on occasion while being both trusting of me and being trust worthy. I like to talk, laugh and feel comfortable around people. I do not want to be suspicious or concerned, I mean what I say and I expect the same thing. I am a believer on 'the little things' that people do to show appreciation, they go a long way.

The first thing people notice about me

That I listen. I seem to constantly be in conversations with others about life and lessons learned. I don't mind listening to others talk or exploring new view points. However, I am fairly sarcastic, humor is important, it keeps a person from dying of overactive ulcer development.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Rebecca - an oldie that was on my "to read list" for a long time. My favorite book though is To Kill A Mockingbird. I re-read it often, its like visiting an old friend.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family
  2. Friends
  3. Coffee

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I am paying attention. I do manage to catch the little things that people say or do, the ones that they think no one saw.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Dependable, Good listener, Intelligent

A little more about me

That I am an open book, but you have to ask the right questions to get to the right chapter.
