More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

horses and horseback riding--promoting my philosophy of communication and tactile relations to a completely different species, trying to prove that kindness beats cruelty.

I typically spend my leisure time

leisure time? hah. ideally i would pursue reading much more than i do now, and catching up on current events so that i wouldn't have to BS in political debates. also travelling and seeking adventure--i'm kind of an old school romantic at heart, and have this unfounded hope that something like "the goonies" is going to occur in my life. oh and watching the packers because i love love love aj hawk.

The most influential person in my life has been

just one? i couldn't choose. humor for sure, i laugh at everything...life's too short and no one gets out alive anyway, so why not? intelligence as well. not to be confused with intellect, they're different things. and of course one needs a sense of loyalty and honesty.

The first thing people notice about me

probably something i did or said recently to either make an ass out of myself (like...dancing whenever and wherever i hear a song i like) or a dry/witty (i like to think they are anyway) comment. typically, if i look like a fool, however, it's on purpose...just...not always. im rather outgoing, so i'm sure that's what draws the most immediate attention at any rate.

The last book I read and enjoyed

eesh. um. probably zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance. it's a look at philosophies and life-perspectives, i like when i get a chance to sit back and contemplate stuff like that. very zen.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. amazing friends
  2. family that has provided me with opportunities
  3. my perception of the world

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

that i'm really just a huge nerd. people seem to think (upon first impression) that i'm sophisticated or something, and i've actually heard them tell me later on that they were a bit intimidated by me! that's madness. i'm a dork and i love it, i wouldn't change anything.

Friends Describe me as

Creative, Easy-Going, Funny, Intelligent

A little more about me

i used to ride on the texas aggie equestrian team, but i'm taking a break from school to try to train horses professionally! so i'll be in the chicago-wisconsin area for the next little while...
