More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Music - helps to set or change a mood and gets me going, playing outside - running, hiking, biking, sports, traveling - especially to other countries.

I typically spend my leisure time

Hang out with friends, walk around the city, hike & run trails in Marin, cooking & entertaining, or just snuggling up to a good book or movie.

The most influential person in my life has been

A take charge, confident, funny and adventurous guy.

The first thing people notice about me

My witty personality.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Lipstick Jihad -- about a Iranian-American woman who grew up in the Bay Area and then became a journalist in Iran. It's about her struggle for identity and experiences feeling like an outsider in both countries.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My health, never taking for granted that I can walk, see & hear
  2. opportunities I've had to travel, meet all kinds of people, and learn new cultures
  3. Happy times with friends, especially when I'm laughing so hard I cry!

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm a really good cook.

Friends Describe me as

Energetic, Funny, Hard Working, Perceptive

A little more about me

In addition to my corporate job, I coach high school volleyball and softball. Working with these kids is very important and rewarding to me. I give a lot of energy working with them, planning practices, and doing all I can to ensure that this experience makes a positive impact in their lives.
