The one thing I am passionate about...
I am passionate about being there for my family and friends. My family has always supported everything I do and never questions my decisions. They stand behind me 100% in everything I do and we are very close even though we have all moved apart. It's the same with my friends, whom I am also passionate about. I am friendly with everyone but have a handful of friends who would do anything for me and I for them, no questions asked. Another passion of mine is remaining optimistic about life each day and always looking at the brighter side of things.
I typically spend my leisure time
When I have free time, I enjoy spending it outdoors either taking my dog to the park, playing golf or road bicycling. I usually go for one long ride a week, maybe 50 miles. I enjoy reading everything from technical manuals to fiction, just depends on my mood. My dog takes up a lot of my time because he acts like a human and just wants to be involved in everything. My friends and I usually do happy hour and dinners during the week; maybe see a movie now and then but I prefer to be active and just have fun.
The most influential person in my life has been
I truly accept a person for who they are and what they have to offer, so narrowing it down to one quality is impossible. A few qualities I think are very important include someone that is loyal, caring, passionate, and someone that is supportive. I would like to find someone who is motivated, willing to try new things and wants to be in a relationship that is really a partnership.
The first thing people notice about me
People first notice my confidence and my quick witty humor. I like to use humor to make people smile because there's just something about people?s eyes when they smile that really lets you see into their true personality.
The last book I read and enjoyed
The last book I read was "Once an Eagle" by Anton Myer. I have read this book once a year for the past 7 years. Every time I read it I find something new to think about. It's about the life and career of a military officer that spans World War I and II, the Korean War, and the beginning of the Vietnam War. The book covers every aspect of life for the main character, Old Sad Sam, and the life of his wife in the time of war and peace. He personifies what America stands for and the people who founded our country.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My great family because they are always there for me and we have fun together.
- My best friends because they are beautiful people and I wouldn?t trade them for the world.
- Every opportunity given to me because I am willing to risk a lot to gain a lot.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I wish more people would realize that I am more humble than they might believe because my confidence is noticed immediately.
Friends Describe me as
Dependable, Easy-Going, Spontaneous, Thoughtful
A little more about me
I am a guy who trusts his gut and is easy going, so I like to go with the flow but there are certainly things that need a plan. I am pretty much an open person to everyone; what you see is what you get.
