More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm most passionate about my relationships with others, I always try to be open and honest with friends, family, and co-workers. It's important that I have no regrets.

I typically spend my leisure time

This changes pretty frequently based on the time of year, workload etc. I'm a pretty avid reader, and I use a lot of my leisure time learning new things. I'm one of those people who craves learning as much as I can. During the warmer months I'm inclined to spend time outside (yard work, hiking, biking, bbq-ing) and during football season Sundays are spent near a TV or radio.

The most influential person in my life has been

This is a tough question. It's difficult to pick one particular quality in another person, but if I had to pick one and only one it would be honesty. Honest people are usually good, caring, insightful people and that's important to me.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm often told by people that I'm down-to-earth. I don't particularly know if that's a canned response, or a noticeable personality trait.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I recently read Death Comes for the Archbishop by Willa Cather. I've read it several times before but I'm constantly drawn back to it, especially when things in my life have change significantly. Cather captures so much in that story about life and the places it takes you, it's a comfort reading it and helps to keep things in perspective.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My friends and family
  2. The opportunities that have been offered to me
  3. Being financially stable

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I wish people would recognize that I'm much more adventurous and open to new experiences than I appear to be. Though I may not immediately rush into the unknown, it doesn't take much to get me there.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Generous, Intelligent, Warm

A little more about me

Unfortunately I don't have any hidden or amazing talents. I can't cook, bake, or knit, but I can put together just about anything that doesn't require welding.
