More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I tend to be most passionate about my art, sailing, and racing sailboats. I enjoy meanningful conversations with others about their passions, beliefs, and ideas even if I don't share the same opinion. I enjoy being able to learn new things.

I typically spend my leisure time

I spend my leisure time reading, painting, sculpting, sailing, and spending time with my friends...ok,ok, I confess, I do like to shop...must be a girl thing, or so I've been told. I love movies ranging from intellectual to silly, and everything in between. It all depends on my mood.

The most influential person in my life has been

Yes, he has to have a sense of humor but I am also looking for a man who can express and want to share his thoughts, desires, and feelings. A little goofy is even good.

The first thing people notice about me

Well, I'm just not sure. I just called my friend to ask her and the response was a middle aged attactive woman. I had to scrape myself off the floor at being called middle aged, which of course at 45 I am, and take in what she said. I guess my answer for now is I really don't know.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"The Double Bind" It is a book that will be relased to the public in February 2007 by author Chris Bohjalian. It is a well written mystery. The book kept me hooked into reading it. It was about a women photographer that expressed her inner most feeling through her photographs which leads her into a mystery she encounters.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My friends and family
  2. The inner peace I gain while I paint and sculpt.
  3. I am thankful for what life brings me.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

people's first impression of me is that I am shy, quiet, maybe even aloof, not open to meeting people. I am very open and caring once given the opportunity and some time. I tend to have a sarcastic sense of humor which is not seen until I am comfortable around the person. It doesn't take long for it to come out, I kind of throw people off sometimes when I meet them at parties.

Friends Describe me as

Creative, Good listener, Intelligent, Perceptive

A little more about me

When we begin to communicate I will be able to share more about myself. I feel odd trying to find clever things to say bout myself. So, I will leave it at "TO BE CONTINUED"
