The one thing I am passionate about...
My two most consuming passions are learning and people.I am happiest when I know that the people in my life are happy and well-cared for, and I am definately not above going out of my way to make a person's day better. My favorite hobby is learning. I am in the process of learning how to speak Spanish and German, learning how to play the bass and the accoustic six-string guitars, and learning how to work on my car and my motorcycle. It is rare that I choose to spend time playing non physically active games, reading fiction, or watching movies in the abscence of a good cuddle-buddy.
I typically spend my leisure time
I try to mix it up a bit, but always be sure to get my exercise, if that makes any sense.Beyond that, I love to learn! Playing around with my bass guitar, busting out my tools and the repair manual to my car so I can try and hammer out the latest problem with my sweet little old station wagon (with our without calling my little brother for advice), zipping around on my ghetto old motorcycle, which was also a fix-it project that I adopted for the learning experience, exploring my city, or a new city, depending on how much leisure time I've got, reading a new book, and, very importantly, spending quality time with friends and family!
The most influential person in my life has been
Compatibility!!!I want a relationship that will work for the long-haul.Beyond that, I find it very attractive when a person lives life both to enjoy it, and to make the world a better place.Aslo very high on my wish list is a guy that likes to give and recieve lots of physical affection. Surprising me with a hug can make my day awesome like nothing else.
The first thing people notice about me
People notice that I am sweet and kind.
The last book I read and enjoyed
That would be a tie between a textbook for my radiation protection and dosimetry class and Jailbird by Kurt Vonnegut.I liked the nerd book because it gave me an exciting new dimention of understanding of the stuff I'd been studying at school, and applying on the job at my last internship.I liked Jailbird because Vonnegut's mind is a very interestingly twisted place.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My family--loving, kind, dependable people with very good character
- My friends, who keep life interesting, and keep me growing as a person
- My education--I am very proud of having gone to nerd-school, and excited about the career opportunities that lie ahead.
Friends Describe me as
Creative, Genuine, Intelligent, Thoughtful
A little more about me
I have a special place in my heart for nerd-men, but I crave a little more action and adventure than I could share with America's typical couch-nerd. Video-games are cool and all, but I'd take life over them anyway. It's great to get out and live it!
