The one thing I am passionate about...
Non-paying member. Can't respond. Tried it for almost a year. 10-15% of the 250 matches did any kind of communicating. In the past month I tried one last time and got 60 matches. Only 2 started the question process. I am not the only person unhappy with eH. Google them and check the reviews from websites that don't receive money from eH. They gave it 1 star out of 5. 1 out of about 385 eH subscribers gets married within an average of 3 months. That's still in the the "honey moon" stage of dating. Even eH states that. I feel silly that I paid money.
I typically spend my leisure time
I like everything. I enjoy volunteer work for schools and nonprofits. I love having dinner parties and throwing birthday parties for friends. I like the outdoors. I enjoy just walking around the neighborhood. I enjoy movies, books, TV, cooking, watching football and music - I love to dance. I am a bit of a nerd in that I love science fiction and fantasy and anime. I also like games especially social games or strategy games like Settlers of Cattaan. I love doing things with my sons. Museums, walks and video games are what we've been doing recently.
The most influential person in my life has been
Unconditional love. It encompases everything that's accepting, open, spiritual, compassionate and many other wonderful things. That love has to be inward as well as outward. "Love thy neighbor as thyself" also means we must love ourselves in order to have love to give to others. One can't drink from an empty well. Also, believing that we are all on the same team is vital. There is no "us" versus "them" in my book. Disliking certain people because of appearance, beliefs or where they were born is not okay.
The first thing people notice about me
My happiness to meet them.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I tend to read a couple books at a time. I really liked "101 Powerful Promises From Latterday Prophets," and "NLP for Lazy leaning." I gained so much insight and feelings of gratitude from the "Promises" book. I feel everyone will benefit from reading it. "NLP" teaches why people form mental blocks by examining what was happening when it first started and what beliefs created the habit. Also, I read a silly comic that is just funny and lets me get in touch with my "inner geek." It's a spoof on superheroes, Star Trek and anything else in that realm using action figures. It's quite silly.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- One more thing - don't ever pay full price.
- There are $19.99 a month offers all the time, once you've signed up for the free trial. You get 3 months for $60, then it's month to month.
- Also the last offer I got was $39 for 3 months. Great deal if you really want to use this site, I guess.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I enjoy almost every interest I have been exposed to - so more likely than not we have something in common.
Friends Describe me as
Affectionate, Intelligent, Spiritual, Spontaneous
A little more about me
I love a ton of things. I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, playing strategy board games, anime, sci-fi. I haven't run into many things that I don't like. It's all fun - especially with the right person.
