The one thing I am passionate about...
I am most passionate about my education. I am seeking B.A.s in Religious studies and Women's studies. I love the variety of forms in which different cultures seek to explain the divine. i hold strong to my feminist ideologies and how our culture shapes our society and the individual.
I typically spend my leisure time
I rarely have leisure time, unless it is scripted into my life. I go to school full time, I work part time and I volunteer at a women's shelter part time. When I am off, I watch movies, listen to music, go to see a local band or hang out in the local alternative beer-bar.
The most influential person in my life has been
I like people who can talk about a variety of subjects, nearly objectively, yet with passion. Looks are important, but intelligence is the most attractive feature a person can possess.
The first thing people notice about me
Probably my conversation and my laugh. I love in-depth conversations on just about anything and my laugh is bousterous, to say the least.
The last book I read and enjoyed
"Sarah". This book was enjoyable and interesting, but I read it as a spin-off of "The Red Tent", which I loved. Both books hold my main interests, religion and feminism. They coorelate women's experiences with in Judeo-Christian history, that are missing in the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament)
The three things which I am most thankful for
- my family
- my education
- my friends
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
My intelligence. I think people often judge the cover before looking inside.
Friends Describe me as
Generous, Intelligent, Passionate, Spiritual
A little more about me
We can all be uptight once in awhile, but I really like laid back people. We are adults, no drama, no jealousy, no clinging. Relationships shouldn't be stressfull.
