More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Hi! I'm Mindy. :) I'm basically solar-powered, so I love being outside, running, hiking, and just playing and having fun. I also like indoors activities - watching movies, going out to eat, reading, and shopping. I'm very laid-back but also appreciate routine. I love sarcasm, ice cream, and going for long runs. I like people who are genuine and don't take themselves too seriously. I'm super attracted to humor and intelligence. If you're into doing funtivities, I'm your girl! :)

I typically spend my leisure time

On weekends you will find me either running, riding my bike, going to the beach, eating yogurt and wahoo's, exploring new places, seeing movies, or reading good books. If I'm really lucky, I get to do all these funtivities in one weekend!

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm always attracted to people who have found that equal balance of being super motivated, but still know how to roll with the punches. I'm not a fan of laziness, but I'm big on life-work balance and knowing that some days you've just gotta go to the beach and lay out. :)

The first thing people notice about me

I have a really loud voice and laugh. My friends often find themselves talking louder than usual when they're around me, but my laugh is contagious. :) I just get so excited!

The last book I read and enjoyed

Hmm... I've read a lot of books lately.... Water for Elephants, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Twilight, and New Moon. Water for Elephants was just a cool story about the circus during the Depression. A Thousand Splendid Suns was less fun and more a good glimpse into the life of women in Afghanistan. And Twilight and New Moon have been my super guilty pleasure - who doesn't like reading about teenage vampires??

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. my friends
  2. my family
  3. my health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I always want what's best for others, and kindness and understanding are super important to me. I joke a lot, but I'm never serious. ;)

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Easy-Going, Funny, Loyal

A little more about me

I'm eternally optimistic. I will always find the good in others, and fully believe that everything always turns out just fine. :)
