More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am extremely passionate about two things--my faith and my family. My faith is important to me because it defines who I am--a child of God. As for my family, I grew up career military and learned that the other thing I could count on always being with me (besides my faith) was my family.

I typically spend my leisure time

My job requires that I get up really early and work from home before heading into the office. So, some of my lesiure time is spent napping to catch up on my sleep. The other part of my leisure time is spent swimming or taking a power cycling class.

The most influential person in my life has been

A good sense of humor is must with me. Life gives us so many opportunties to laugh at ourselves. I want someone who can find the humor in situations, who enjoys laughing and who likes to share that with me.

The first thing people notice about me

Probably my sarcastic sense of humor.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I read a lot and I enjoy most of what I read. I tend to read a book or two a week, depending on what's going on in my life. The last book I read that I really enjoyed was John Grisham's The Innocent Man. Yes, it's a Grisham book , but it's not your typical Grisham. For one thing, this is a non-fiction account of a true story of justice gone wrong. It's sobering and scary at times how an innocent man got railroaded by the legal system and nearly paid for it with his life.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family
  2. Relationship with God
  3. My friends

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That even though I can get really geeky about some things, that I'm not as bad as you might think.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Funny, Respectful, Spiritual

A little more about me

My favorite love song is Colin Raye's "Really Not That Different." It just really sums up what I'm looking for...Also, you should know I'm divorced. I know that can be an issue for some.
