More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Have a great driving passion to learn new things, a passion for writing and a great interest in politics. I read a great deal, a mix of non-fiction (mostly) and fiction, and I also love my three puppies, riding horses and am a die-hard football fan!

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading, television, going out with friends, riding horses, long walks with my puppies, and watching college and professional football. I love the beach and also enjoy cooking great meals for friends.

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty.

The first thing people notice about me

Well, there are two things: my optimism and my mischevious sense of humor.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last non-fiction book I read was The Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer. I'm currently reading The History of the Church by Bruce L. Shelley right now (I'm not much on organized religion--but want to understand the history of Christianity). The last "guilty pleasure" book I read was the latest in the Vince Flynn thriller series, "Act of Treason."

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. God
  2. Friends
  3. Family

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Beats me!

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

I'm a fun-loving, outgoing person, with a great sense of humor, but have a very serious side. I consider it not only a civic duty but my personal responsibility to make the world we live in a better place through my faith, my work and informing/helping/inspiring people. America is the greatest country that ever existed. We walk on the freest soil and breathe the freest air of any country in history. If you hate our military and "blame America first" for every ill in the world, you need not bother communicating with me. I love this country and her sons and daughters in harm's way who guarantee our freedoms.
