More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am extremely passionate about what is right and wrong, and doing my best to be fair to others. I have very high expectations for myself and one of my downfalls is that I have the same expectations of others. I am very loyal and very feeling, and I will always strive to do right by those to whom I am close. I am currently studying for a Master's Degree in Community Counseling and would like to specialize in Women's Issues. I am interested in helping women to be the best that they can be at whatever they choose, and to live a full and balanced life.

I typically spend my leisure time

I usually spend my time studying (grad school), reading, relaxing with friends, listening to music, dining out or watching auto racing.

The most influential person in my life has been

Loyalty - I need to be with someone that I know I can trust and who I know will have my back in rough situations. I also want someone who will support their partner in a good, solid relationship as much as I will.

The first thing people notice about me

My intelligence and general competence.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book that I really, truly enjoyed was "A Girl's Guide to Witchcraft" My favorite thing about the book was that it reminded me of the relationship that I have with one of my closest friends. The friendship in the book totally mirrored that - the way we joke, the way we talk about things, and the things that we appreciate about each other - and the book made me want a fish named "Stupid Fish".

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My intelligence and strength of character and will, and ability to handle difficult times and life's surprises.
  2. My close relationship with my mom, since it's just the two of us.
  3. My kittycats. If you are allergic to cats, you need not apply.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I can be really, really funny, in a dry, sarcastic way, but also in a fun way. Trouble is, this only comes out when I am people with whom I feel totally comfortable and like I can be myself.

Friends Describe me as

Articulate, Funny, Genuine, Intelligent

A little more about me

I have no aversion to sports - in fact, I love NASCAR (you'll know where to find me on Sundays), and I can watch SportsCenter, football, baseball, basketball or soccer, but I don't play sports very often. I make a very good spectator. Oh, yeah, and I also hate George W. Bush.
