The one thing I am passionate about...
That people everywhere be forever connected to those they love and that they LIVE LIFE fulfilled, free and fully self-expressed.One expression of this in my life is that I lead monthly panel discussions at NYU Hospital along with Dr. Sarno (a pioneer in mindbody medicine.) The purpose of these panels is to support his patients and accelerate their recovery from chronic pain. Five years ago, under his care, I healed myself of chronic back pain (without pharmaceuticals or physical therapy) even though the best MD's in NY recommended surgery.
I typically spend my leisure time
Anuasara Yoga, running, beach, hanging out with my friends and fam, shopping at the health food store, or book store, not much TV, road trips, baseball games, walking around NYC... Want to do more museums, broadway shows, off-broadway, cool NYC stuff, you know...
The most influential person in my life has been
Integrity. That she HONOR her word, though not KEEP it all the time. That her actions match her words, and when they don't (as is often the case for everyone!) that this be acknowleged. For me, keeping a healthy, constructive, empowering attitude is a vital part of having integrity.
The first thing people notice about me
My smile, or my bald head, or my height (oh! that's all appearance!) Ok, that around me people experience a sense of comfort and ease.
The last book I read and enjoyed
"The Art of Loving" by Erich Fromm. Blew me away. I thought that if I would just find the "right" woman, then the "loving" part would be easy and natural. I looked back at my romatic history and had to ask, "were they all the wrong women?" "Or, did I have anything to do with that?!" Fromm suggests love is an art, and as such must be studied and practiced. What a concept! I'm now looking forward to "Doing the work."
The three things which I am most thankful for
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I WISH people would notice my silver Mercedes 600SL Roadster. Maybe if I had one, they would notice it! I'm joking - I drive a Jeep and love it!
Friends Describe me as
Funny, Good listener, Intelligent, Warm
A little more about me
Though a bit ironic for an Argentinian, I am a vegetarian. Been one for 6 years. I would prefer to date a vegetarian although its not a requirement.
