The one thing I am passionate about...
What am I not passionate about? Passionate in every sense of the word. When describing me, please be aware that you may acurately use the word "very" in front of every adjective.I adore animals. Not necessarily animal rights or activism, but simply just caring about animals. I love my own pets, my friends' pets, and generally make them know that they have the happiest home on earth.Apparently, I am a Sagittarius through and through (although I never read my horoscope).
I typically spend my leisure time
Do you enjoy discovering culinary delights, captivating conversation, taking time to indulge yourself, rejuvenate, learning new things, and spending time outdoors (but not necessarily "roughing it")? Me too. One day you may find me curled up with watercolors and my iPod. Another, I'll be taking in the view during a mid-week canyon hike. I'm equally excited to see restaurants and night life appear on the agenda as I am to have a date with a DVD and incredible company. I'd love to learn to sail and enjoy more live music. My neighborhood is pretty fantastic, so even if my leisure time is limited, I can always find a way to amuse myself.
The most influential person in my life has been
I understand the question, but I don't have a definitive answer of one specific quality.Intelligence is valued as well as charm. I appreciate clever banter. Charisma is essential. Sexiness and confidence are a huge plus, especially when playful flirting is added to the mix. Goal-oriented, but not necessarily at the pinnacle of one's career. Round things out with strength of character, integrity, and honesty.
The first thing people notice about me
Large words just spill out of my mouth. And strange, useless trivia. It's a gift some say. And once my mouth is open, I have really great teeth that are nice and white.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Where to begin? I suppose we could look at my small library. I find myself recommending "The Time Traveller's Wife" and "The E-myth Revisted" often. "Brave New World" is a favorite classic. Leafing through cookbooks can be fascinating without even picking up a spatula. In a society where technology can be all-encompassing, I like to remind myself of traditions every now and again. "The Art of the Handwritten Note" is a concise and easy read that illustrates how easily you can integrate one of my favorite habits into your own lifestyle. Everyone is talking about "The Secret" -- I favor the DVD. Guilty pleasure: romantic chick lit.
The three things which I am most thankful for

- :: Freedom - enough said ::
- :: Time ::
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Unless they are writing to me, they don't get to see how much I enjoy penning e-mails and notes. Correspondence can actually be a great way to express a voice and be creative.One caveat: I do NOT like to write business letters or documents, even though I do them well. Ugh! Oh, and answering business calls at dinner irritates me. Please respond to it at an appropriate, courteous time.

A little more about me
Certainly. Ask questions. Write. Type. Talk. Send a carrier pigeon. That's why we're here -- to get to know each other and possibly meet.
