More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm most passionate about my children and my family.

I typically spend my leisure time

I'll watch something on tv or go see a movie. Or I'll grab a bottle of wine and enjoy a good book. Or I'll hang out with my friends. Or I'll go out with my friends and we'll have a good time together. There are so many options... It all depends on my mood, I guess.

The most influential person in my life has been

I want to be with someone who can share intimacy. So many people are afraid to show who they really are. They tend to hide themselves.

The first thing people notice about me

People often remark that I'm always smiling or laughing. I like to joke around a lot too. I always find humor in the little things.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I love to read mysteries/thrillers. My favorite author is Patricia Cornwell, and I finished her newest book, The Book of the Dead, a few days ago. It's one of a series of books about a medical examiner, her ex-FBI niece, her FBI profiler boyfriend, and detective friend. They all work together on cases involving murders and serial killers. They're all very suspenseful. If you enjoy reading thrillers, check her out online.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family
  2. My friends
  3. My health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm a good listener which isn't so bad. I think it's a good quality actually. It can be a bit of a problem for people who don't know that about me. When I meet new people I tend to listen and observe before making any comments or jumping in on a discussion. Sometimes they think I'm ignoring them which is not the case.

A little more about me

I'm new to the area -- well, to PA really. It has been quite a big change for me and I'm still trying to adapt.
