More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about being the best person that I can be. Being the best person doesn't mean the most successful or the person with the most "stuff" it means doing the right thing, being an honorable, kind person. Sometimes putting others first, making others feel good, being a good friend.

I typically spend my leisure time

I try to work out a couple times a week (my new interests are pilates and yoga). Always try to spend time with friends and we will go out to eat, movies, shopping or just running errands together. If I have a long weekend, I try to visit my family (they live out of town). Sometimes I will just be a home-body and read a book or watch tv.

The most influential person in my life has been

The quality that matters to me the most is that a person is genuine. It takes confidence and acceptance to be yourself, to put yourself out there and truly be happy with who you are.

The first thing people notice about me

My accent which is a cross between Columbus, Ohio and Chicago, Illinois (though I don't think I have one)

The last book I read and enjoyed

Ok, you caught me! The last book that I read was a poolside book called Mr. Darcy's Daughters. It is a novel that tries to pick-up where Pride & Prejudice ends, but the author is definitely not a Jane Austen. I have a varied taste in books, Ayn Rand is probably one of my favorite authors, but I also like a good Ludlum or Clancy novel.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family for their endless support, love and acceptance
  2. I am thankful for the opportunities that I have had in life and the person who I have become
  3. The chance to travel, see different parts of the world and experience different cultures

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I am not as serious as I can come across and actually have a good sense of humor.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Generous, Intelligent, Spiritual

A little more about me

I actually have two cats, but please don't call me the cat lady.
