More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm passionate about my nieces & nephews, making good use of my time, creating meaningful memories, taking care of myself and having great conversations with friends and family.

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading, lot's of reading. Occasionally I´┐Żll snowboard if the weather is perfect. I'm a terrible wake boarder, but love to be on the water. I also love quiet dinners, being home, going to the movies, and board games (I can be a bit competitive when the board games are pulled out). I'm always happy when I'm spending time with the ones that I love.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is genuinely nice, open, smart, good conversationalist, great sense of humor and aware of others (not self-absorbed). Also, I always appreciate someone that really wants to know me and is interested in what I have to say. The same qualities that I would hope he'd find in me.

The first thing people notice about me

That I'm shy.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I tend to read more than one book at a time. Banker to the Poor: Muhammad Yunus - Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize - Tells the story of how Yunus established the Grameen bank that now provides micro loans to the poor-mainly in Bangladesh. Fascinating to see that one person can make such a difference. The Long Walk: Slavomir Rawicz - The author and six other prisoners escaped from a Soviet labor camp (1941)and walked over 1,000 miles to freedom. Their experiences were amazing and a great test of the human spirit's will to survive and the desire to be free. The Essays of Warren Buffet (I sound like a nerd. I'll stop now.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My ability to see the blessings in my life
  2. Being a great friend to everyone in my family
  3. To be blessed with the knowledge that there is a purpose to life and Heavenly Father's plan for me.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I'm very approachable and funny.

Friends Describe me as
