More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

travel. photography. art. architecture. food. literature. theater. learning. loving. living.

I typically spend my leisure time

reading, knitting, being crafty, cuddling with my very large lap dogs, walking said dogs, yoga, spending time with friends and family, going out with friends and family, etc etc etc

The most influential person in my life has been

Too bad eHarmony, I'm going to describe more than one quality. Two things I am undoubtedly attracted to: wit and motivation. Wit, because that means you're both intelligent and funny, and motivation, well, that's pretty self-explanatory. I'd want you to challenge me as well as support me in my endeavors, and I the same to you. Ideally, you'd also be outgoing, thoughtful, respectful, intimate and comfortable with yourself. And while I'm discussing ideals, you'd travel with me and cook for (and with) me too...

The first thing people notice about me

That I am friendly, receptive, and easy to talk to.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Cloud Atlas." It contains six stories nestled into each other, all told at a different time in history and in a different style of writing. A couple of the stories are hilarious, some are thought provoking, and the others are just a good read. I also just finished "The War of Don Emmanuel's Nether Parts" by Louis de Berniļæ½res, the author of my favorite book, "Birds Without Wings."

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. my family and friends
  2. my education and opportunities I have been able to have
  3. my dogs! who wouldn't be thankful for fuzzy bundles of unconditional love?

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My dazzling wit of course.

Friends Describe me as

Creative, Genuine, Intelligent, Perceptive
