The one thing I am passionate about...
This has changed from time to time. Usually listening to music or seeing live music is near the top of this list, always on it, and finding time to escape and read a good book, But I am without a doubt, most passionate about animals. I love animals all sorts, from insects to dogs, to reptiles to giraffes. I have always gone out of my way to care for the animals around me and those I come across in my journeys. I have decided that I am going back to school to do something I should have done a long time ago. I am going to get a bachelor's in biology and get myself into veterinary school.
I typically spend my leisure time
Reading, I volunteer at the zoo, going to the batting cage and smashing some balls around, movies, exploring the outdoors, cabin trips, listening to and playing music. Twins games, Saints games, Vikings, Wild, Gophers, Bulldogs. Love Spending weekends watching and playing football or home run derbies with some friends. Nights out on the town. Channeling my creativity somehow. bridgeing, running, swimming, jumping off things, drinking coffee early, pretty much anything I can manage at any given time.
The most influential person in my life has been
I want to find someone who wants to be with me no matter what. Someone who just wants to be in my presence regardless of what we are doing. Sometimes having no plan is the best, and I need someone who is comfortable without a plan 100% of the time. Let's just be random and undecided sometimes.
The first thing people notice about me
Definitely my randomness. I guess it plays a large role in my sense of humor too. I have been known to finish conversations hours old, continue a topic we talked about yesterday. I just say whats on my mind, usually makes sense to me, and if you can put the pieces together, you'll see the sense in it. Now, I am not crazy off the wall and complete full of nonsense, it just is a part of my humor, and comes out from time to time.
The last book I read and enjoyed
"The Shadow of the Wind" This is the story of a boy who finds a book surrounded in mystery. He discovers that the book is very rare and wants to find more books by the same author. The boy learns that all of the author's books are sought out by the "devil" and burned. I love this book because the boy's relationships with women are and were very much like my own, and I could see myself in this boys shoes as he seeks out the mystery.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- The ability to go back to school and chase my dreams
