More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm most passionate about making the world a happier, more friendly place to be. It's important to me that I learn, see as much of the world, laugh (and write!) as much as I can while I do.

I typically spend my leisure time

Now that I have a job with sane hours and am finished all of my law school applications, I really enjoy exploring D.C., seeing movies, blogging, photography, and working out. Things I wish I did more: travel, use my foreign language skills, and read.

The most influential person in my life has been

Definitely kindness. It's so important to me that the person I find treats other people well.

The first thing people notice about me

That I'm easy to talk to. For better or worse (and I'd say mostly for the better), people always feel comfortable talking to me about what's on their minds. Or asking me for the time or for directions (even in countries they live in and I don't).

The last book I read and enjoyed

One I really liked that I've been passing around is "Lost Cosmonaut: Observations of an Anti-Tourist" by Daniel Kalder. He traveled around some of the most obscure places in the former USSR. I'd love to do something like that one day.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family
  2. That I'm a good person
  3. The opportunities I've had to see the world

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My sense of humor. It's dry enough that people don't always get my jokes right away, and also enough that I don't always unleash it on people I don't know very well.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Funny, Intelligent, Sweet

A little more about me

I should probably mention that I'm from the West Coast and am often told that it's pretty obvious because I'm "too nice" to be from here. I may want to go back one day, but definitely love living in D.C. and may be here for good.
