More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Making others happy.Eat, live, and be happy.Being with friends who aren't negative.Enjoying my OWN coAbility to make quick life/activity decisions, even if activity isn't something I've been exposed to/comfortable with.Fishing/crabbing/birdwatching, appreciating nature from a boat and/or walking trails.Trying new things that someone else likes, so I'm able to revel in their joy and can find another reason to enjoy said activity by knowing that I'm physically where I am OR WITH someone enjoyable.i.e., like trying to paint while at a beach or in the woods, so if my paintings not so great at least the locality was fun/pretty/etc.

I typically spend my leisure time

On my boats. Walking my dog. Gardening. Fishing/crabbing (salt & fresh water activities). DVD watching. HBO series/Soprano's/6 ft under for example.

The most influential person in my life has been

ability to have fun at a moments notice. Just DO IT, don't analysis it.

The first thing people notice about me

that I'm in control here.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Valley of the Horses -- last of series of books by Jean Aual. Also wrote Clan of the Cave Bear, etc. Since I like camping/winderness, her books are what you might call EXTREME camping/survival. Just interesting to me to read what some authors think regarding how we humans evolved.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. family -- both in their closeness relating to living close by and their mental/spiritial closeness
  2. my deceased husband's and our relationship prior to his passing
  3. my ability to appreciate what I have on a daily basis by not obsessing about things past

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

that I'm NOT always in control here . . . and would like a hand to hold.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Generous, Good listener, Loyal

A little more about me

I'm recently widowed, 10+ months now. PLEASE don't think I'm the type that will idolize my late husband or try to compare any of the matches that are selected for me. The one good thing that came of his passing is that I will continue my life by living every moment and enjoying, with someone new now, each and every day. I Don't Obsess. I don't dwell. I am what I am due to my past experiences and wouldn't mind some new ones at this point in my life. Who's interested in coming along for the ride??
