The one thing I am passionate about...
Ok, so I was thinking about this question. I'm honestly not sure what I AM passionate about. I have a lot of different interests and things that I really enjoy doing, things I want to do more of or new things I want to try (ie. dancing, traveling, etc.). I don't really have one specific thing that I drop everything for to do. And, to be honest, this bothers me a little. I often THINK about finding something I'm really passionate about, but it falls to the wayside and I focus on the "stuff that needs to be done" list instead.
I typically spend my leisure time
I don't have a lot of leisure time. I split it quite a few ways: exercising during the week, reading a good book, watching a good movie and spending time with family and friends.
The most influential person in my life has been
A sense of humor and ability to laugh/take in stride whatever comes along.
The first thing people notice about me
I tend to be sarcastic and have a dry sense of humor. That gets noticed pretty quickly.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I read quite a bit, but "Two Little Girls" was about a couple's experience adopting two girls from Europe and the difficulties they had during the proces, as well as what they learned about each other and themselves. It was really enlightening, especially since I have 5 cousins who are adopted and I babysit for two kids who were adopted from Kazahkstan almost 4 years ago.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My family and their support.
- My close friends.
- God's grace, FORGIVENESS, love, FAITHFULNESS & sacrifice.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Interesting question. Hard question. I think for the most part I'm pretty real. However, once someone gets to know me I'm much more outgoing than I might seem to be when I first meet someone. I think it's because I tend to feel out whomever I am with before I open up too much.
Friends Describe me as
Caring, Funny, Good listener, Hard Working
A little more about me
I get homesick for the ocean (even though I've never lived there). I should have been a librarian. I love watching thunderstorms and sunsets and will even pull over to watch them if I'm driving! I want to be a writer when I "grow up". If I could be ANYTHING in the WORLD, I'd be a sit-com actress. Oh, and I'd like to breed pet beetles someday...I think it could really take off...
