More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My career, making people laugh, fashion, friends, self improvement, tennis working out,art

I typically spend my leisure time

working out, going to dinner or happy hour with friends, drinking wine, playing tennis, spending saturdays by the pool in the summer, and trying NOT to spend saturdays watching TV all day in the winter. Taking the occasional nap (And I don't even feel bad about it). Watching 24, The Hills (okay I do feel a little bad about that),and The Office. Trying to spend more time reading. Going to the High Museum, and Braves games, going out on the town on weekends, shopping..when I can. watching movies. Trying to experience everything Atlanta has to offer.

The most influential person in my life has been

honesty, good communication, the ability to make me laugh, someone who is not intimidated by my socialness. Someone who I admire and want to learn from. Someone who is goal-oriented but still knows how to balance both work and family/friends. Someone who is open-minded and level headed. Who trusts me,and is romantic, and a gentleman. Someone who would pick up and leave one weekend at last minutes notice to drive down to the beach. Someone who loves going out and being with friends, but can also appreciate staying in and having a night alone.

The first thing people notice about me

My hunchback. Ha! Probably people are most surprised by the warmth and excitement I greet them with. I truly believe it makes people feel good about themselves, and everybody deserves that. What if you were the only person that was nice to that person all day? I try to think about that.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I actually read two. " Running with Scissors" and "Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs" I highly recommend both, but the latter was fantastic. It looks at human nature through the medium of Pop Culture. It is very insightful, and unfortunately true on many levels. The best part is when he is analyzing the phrase " Its like comparing apples to oranges" He pretty much argues that in every feasible way, shape, and form they are in fact very similar and practically the same and you can't compare them. Funny and true! He proposes changing the phrase to " That's like comparing apples to baby wolverines"

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Great friends that are there no matter what, who take my side when I am right and let me know when I am wrong
  2. Parents who forced me to be independent and self reliant at a young age
  3. Random acts of kindness

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I am not all jokes.

Friends Describe me as
