The one thing I am passionate about...
Being open-minded and ethusiastic about everything life has to offer. My ability to always have a positive attitude and make people laugh. The Environment. American History. My love for all animals. Helping people. Making sure I put my shopping cart into the little stall in the grocery store parking lot.
I typically spend my leisure time
No particular way...I enjoy a number of different activities and am always up to trying new things. I'm very active and make sure I stay in condition. If I had to narrow it down it would be going to the gym, taking care of my fish tanks and watching the fish swim around, riding my bike in the woods, cooking (even though my friends eat most of it). Oh yeah, I'm a MSNBC addict, if I'm home it's on. I'm really interested in trying skydiving and scuba...what do you think?
The most influential person in my life has been
Honesty, says what's on their mind. Additionally, appreciates my sense of humor and my positive outlook on life, likes to flash that smile, independent, strong-willed, likes to be pampered, adventurous, not timid about trying different things and going to places that are off the beaten trail. Physically and mentally fit. A BEST FRIEND. OK! I know that's much more than one!
The first thing people notice about me
I'm very honest, open, and approachable.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I recently read two at the same time. One is 'Eat to Win' by Dr. Robert Haas. I liked what he had to say about eating healthy and the way he descibed the chemical breakdown of foods and how they affect the body. The other book is the 'Saltwater Aquarium Encyclopedia'. I have two freshwater tanks and am ready for the challange of starting a saltwater tank which I've heard is quite difficult.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My loving , supportive family and friends
- My physical and mental health
- My attitude about life
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I will offer my assistance anytime, anywhere, to anybody...even if I don't know them.
Friends Describe me as
Funny, Generous, Respectful, Spontaneous
A little more about me
I'm a big fan of Mark Twain. He maintained a remarkable sense of humor even though he suffered through some tragedy in his family. His way of putting things into perspective is uncanny. His quote about honesty, "Yes, even I am dishonest. Not in many ways, but in some. Forty-one, I think it is." About golf, "a good walk, spoiled". Also, I love to be outside and watch thunderstorms. Additionally, I am now into organic and natural foods...good stuff.
