More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

At the moment, my future home. It's my work in progress, soon to be complete. It was my grandfather's and it's very important to me that it maintains as much of its originality and simplicity with everything that has been done. Preserving history for myself and future generations. So, I suppose I am passionate about things that last. A night spent with great friends out or at home is always good for the soul.

I typically spend my leisure time

With friends, taking the Seahawk to the middle of the lake at midnight, dancing, reading a good book, working on the cabin, finding/learning something new.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is dependable yet spontaneous, who enjoys life and all it has to offer. Honest, genuine, who knows what they want.

The first thing people notice about me

I'll take a survey, but until I get that grant I'm going to have to guess so, it's that I'm actually listening.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins. It's about beets, a 600 yr old King named Alobar, a girl from Seattle, bees, New Orleans, a drunk Irish man who wears an eye patch and much more. He's a fantastic writer, creative, funny, intelligent, thought provoking. Before that was The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. You just have to read it if you haven't, necessary life lessons.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Definitely true friends and family, where would we be without them?
  2. Being able to travel, seeing, learning & experiencing different ways of life
  3. being able to go to my cabin on the lake, quiet mornings, music, there's too many to list.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Odd question, how do I know?

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Easy-Going, Generous, Loyal
