The one thing I am passionate about...
Live & Learn ... doing my best to be present along the way ... plus finding the joy in each day. I wear a few hats - business woman, advisor, friend, confidant, ice breaker, contemplator. I'm an extroverted introvert, and surprisingly, this works out quite nicely. The best of both worlds. I enjoy travelling and watching the sun rise over a new landscape. I try to appreciate life and all its wonders, and I look forward to the wonders yet to be discovered.
I typically spend my leisure time
I work a lot, so I do appreciate my leisure time! I love to be near (or in) water, I like being outdoors (when it's not 106F), I like reading, seeing films, going to workshops on interesting topics and I would love to find more time to travel.
The most influential person in my life has been
I'm interested in am man who has lived life, taken risks has learned something from each experience. A man who lives from a place of honesty and integrity, who hasn't become complacent, and who knows that there is still much to be experienced and learned. But also, someone who doesn't feel like he has to be 'doing' all the time. There is plenty to be accomplished by just being.
The first thing people notice about me
I don't know, I'll have to ask around! Maybe that I like to laugh ... and I can have a quirky sense of humor.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I go in spurts and buy lots of books that I start reading all at the same time. Some get finished, some don't. Plus I have a lot of work related books I like to refer to... I finally bought a Kindle to take on a trip to Thailand. I was reading "Moonwalking with Einstein", but then I found Scabble and Texas Hold 'Em . . .
The three things which I am most thankful for
- my health
- knowing I have the support of family and friends when I need it
- my will to pursue what is important to me and my willingness to take risks
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I guess that answer would depend on the person ...
Friends Describe me as
Caring, Creative, Passionate, Perceptive
