More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Artwork - mine and others. Being understood, sharing a powerful story, human warmth, human break throughs - getting over something you thought you couldn't - I'm happy for anyone when that happens. Being in the wilderness, pine scent, an overwhelming thunderstorm, An unspoiled view, in the Adirondacks I have a hard time with a spectacular view with a 7/Eleven smack in the middle of it. Now that I've boasted about what a great idea person I am - I'm at a loss for words- naturally.

I typically spend my leisure time

This test has a problem. For instance I adore shopping, but don't do it - can't afford to. I love making art but I don't know how to differentiate liesure time for it. I don't know what to call liesure time accept when away from art supplies. I love certain tv shows - House, Medium, Big Love, I loved The Soprano's, Monk, Burn Notice, Kathy Griffin, Design Star. I often make art work in front of the tv.

The most influential person in my life has been

I want them to be articulate, I want my kind of handsome - impossible to put that in writing - everyone I've thought was handsome looks very different from one another. I want them to be endearing.

The first thing people notice about me

That I can be very perceptive.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Ship of Gold. It was about a ship that sank carrying over a million dollars worth of gold in the 18OO's.Half the book is a blow by blow recollection of survivers - when they knew the boat was going to sink - some were fascinated that the gold was not the thing worth saving. Obvious - but to actually know it is great. The rest of the book was about Tommy Thompson hearing about the gold and going after it which required odd skill sets, thinking outside the box, and trying to figure out how to keep the project a secret. I passed that book along to 5 people.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My turn of mind, I like the way I think. I'm ussually modest, but this is not the place for modesty.
  2. Outrageous coincidences, beautiful views, fascinating and well told stories- these are wonders.
  3. I love being an artist.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm good company.

Friends Describe me as

Articulate, Creative, Funny, Genuine

A little more about me

My best friend is gay and I object to the fact that this site doesn't let gays look for love. I'm going to have to confess to him that I got on here - even though I consider it to be like joining a club where blacks, jews or gays are not allowed in. If my match is here - we can write to Harmony and voice our objections!I am sweet, I can make a person feel "gotten". I love sharing ideas. My conversational talents are hit or miss. This site seems to be trying to get you to form an honest picture of yourself - but I see they ask if you've represented yourself well. I'm into making a good first impression - but not here.
