The one thing I am passionate about...
I love to go out running to keep myself in shape and to relieve any stress that I may have. Maybe its the runners high I always hear about but there is something about going out and putting one foot in front of the other to get perspective on life and to see just how far you can go. I also love to read anything that makes you think instead of just entertain you (don't get me wrong, I can get sucked into the DaVinci Code too). Finally, I enjoy going new places. my job has me travel on the weekends occasionally and I always look forward to the adventure.
I typically spend my leisure time
If I get a morning off, I always find myself at a coffee shop reading a good book. Its great people watching and I get some of my best thinking done then.I love going out for an adult beverage or two after work if people are up for it... a beer always seems to taste best after a long day of work and its always fun just to shoot the breeze before heading home.I enjoy running or some other form of exercise when I have free time... I figure I'm thin for a reason, must be to run.
The most influential person in my life has been
I like REAL, people. I know, in So Cal that can be considered an endangered species but the more attitude someone has the less attractive it is. Just hang out, be yourself, don't worry about image or trying to be something you are not. In the end, its the inner beauty that keeps people around.
The first thing people notice about me
Most likely the fact that I smile easily and that unless you give me a good reason, I'm always nice to people.
The last book I read and enjoyed
The What Is The What by Dave Eggers. Its not normally what I would read but I got it as a gift from my brother and I would always look forward to the time when I could read it. Its about the Lost Boys of the Sudan which isn't the most uplifting subject but its so well written that it just brings out a full range of emotions that normally books aren't able to do.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- I am healthy and I don't feel anywhere near my 34 years
- I have a stable group of friends and family
- I have a good job and I don't have to worry about what I will eat next or where I will sleep
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Mostly, I wish they would notice that I'm about 6'1" but then that wouldn't be true. Otherwise, I wish people would notice that although I'm an easy going guy it doesn't mean I'm passive, I love to go out and experience different adventures... just ask and let's go.
Friends Describe me as
Easy-Going, Intelligent, Kind, Physically Fit
A little more about me
OK so I'm not the tallest guy ever, but if you are someone that is fine with that then you'll find that I'm probably one of the more solid guys you will meet... at least thats what my high school counselor told me :)
