More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm the kind of person who always has to be learning about something new or experiencing new things, otherwise I get hopelessly bored. I love meeting new people, and just getting out into the world and exploring. I love roadtrips--you never know who you're going to meet or what cool experiences your going to have. As a teacher, I'm really passionate about learning and helping other people. Being a positive influence on a young person is one of the best feelings in the world.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love to hike and I love to travel. I'm always looking for new trails to check out, and I would love to meet someone that would like to go exploring with me. Unfortunately, I don't get to travel as much as I would like to, and I'm hoping to meet a like-minded guy who would show me his favorite haunts, both in the New England area and abroad. As mentioned elsewhere in my profile, I love the arts, and one of my favorite things to do is to go down to New York City to check out a museum, a show, a concert, or to just hang out.

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty and a sense of adventure.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm very outgoing and I like to make people laugh.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Right now, I'm reading "Water for Elephants." It's a novel about this guy who worked as a vet for a circus in the '30s. The subject matter isn't something that I thought would be super interesting, but it's a really cool book.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My friends and family. They've always been very supportive of me.
  2. I'm thankful that I've always enjoyed good health.
  3. Uh, yeah, I guess I've covered the basics... :)

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I have a wild side, I just don't show it that often.

Friends Describe me as

Good listener, Intelligent, Kind, Loyal
