More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My sons and especially holding my first grandson born 12/30/06. I love my ladies bible book study on Monday nights. I enjoy visiting with my sisters. I like to listen to music, recorded or live (not hard rock or rap)I love to read (fiction), and I would love to start writting again - stories, novels. I like to go to yard sales, flea markets, auctions, and antique stores. I don't always have to buy anything but I am trying my hand at consignment selling by renting a small booth. I like movies, especially old black and white movies, usually when sewing or knitting. I like to walk for exercise and I enjoy traveling usually with family or friends

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading and/or writting- going to book club or bible studyCreating things, dinners for friends, quilts and baby blankets for friends and family. Sitting on the porch in summer evenings enjoying quiet times with a glass or cup of tea

The most influential person in my life has been

Kindness, good sense of humor with ability to laugh at themselves and with others not at others

The first thing people notice about me

My calem quiet manner and my smile. I truely belive it is contagious when you smile at others they almost always smile back

The last book I read and enjoyed

Good Grief-takes you through the writer's point of view of losing a husband in death and the stages of grief, survival, and healing. I likes that it was not overly self piting but truthful insights as to what happens in differnt stages of grief with a sense of humor added in. It was a fiction novel but the author explained it well. Grief is experienced in many things, death of a loved one, relationship, spirit.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My life with Christ
  2. My children and other family members
  3. My freedom of choice

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That there is more to me that meets the eye. I may not be the most attractive person in the world or the cleaverst but I am someone special.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Dependable, Loyal, Sweet

A little more about me

My relegious beliefs are very important to me and so is my family. That trust dependability, and loyalty in a relationship is extremely important in any relationship. That love can not fix everything but it sure helps to have it because without it you would not be able to love God, your neighbors, or be forgiving of others.
