More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

i suppose i'm most passionate about constantly learning and bettering myself. i read voraciously, watch things like the discovery channel, and take classes, so that i'm always picking up new skills. i'm always trying to find new ways of looking at things, too, so i can understand other peoples views, which is always helpful.

I typically spend my leisure time

i'm a big fan of live music. i go to shows often, and go to bars and clubs for open mics. i'm a casual writer, and have published an article or two, political commentaries and cooking tips, that kind of thing.i'm a big movie buff as well. i love nature, and take hikes, and like relaxing at lakes and beaches.

The most influential person in my life has been

i guess i'd have to say, someone who can bring me out of my shell. i'm very open in my friendships, and relationships with my family, but have a hard time expressing emotions toward someone i would come to see as a partner. get me to open up, and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

The first thing people notice about me

my giving nature i guess. i'm always there for people if i can be, whether i've just met them or known them for years. i'm a good listener and have a knack for helping people puzzle out their problems.

The last book I read and enjoyed

kaspian lost by richard grant. sort of a contemporary fantasy, and out a kid, and his experiences. i liked it because it had a lot of similarities to my own life, and was able to identify with the characters so well.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. my friends, and how much we care about each other
  2. my car, because i'd go crazy if i couldn't drive
  3. the fact that the winter's over. obviously i'll have to revise this at some point *wink*

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

i'm always helping people with their problems, and they asume that i'm so good at helping THEM, my own life must be a cakewalk. it's hard for me to ask for help when i need it.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Generous, Good listener, Perceptive
