More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Supporting causes for stopping animal abuse, as well as the protection 0f our national resources. Preventative and alternative health.

I typically spend my leisure time

Taking care of my 2 acres of land. Spending time with my animals, and sleeping in on my days off,( normally get up at 4:30 a.m.) Relaxing with a good movie. Photography,( I owned 5 studios in Texas), graphic arts and air shows.

The most influential person in my life has been

The desire to make this a better world. Someone who would be willing to volunteer at a Veteran's hospital, or Habitat for Humanity to see the joy they could bring by "giving" of their time. Someone that can be strong and compassionate because they have the confindence to be both.

The first thing people notice about me

My ability to communicate and make people feel "comfortable". I guess I could be considered; "one of the guys" at times, and that is just fine with me.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read was; "Your Best Life Now", by Joel Osteen. This was a book about how to reach your goals and dreams by faith and having a positive attitude. How to have better realtionships with family and at work. I liked the fact that Joel pointed out thinking and dwelling on the negative side of things will never get you where you want to go.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family and children, and granddaughter
  2. My health and my family's health
  3. Freedom to live in this country

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I have a great sense of humor!

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

I spent several years in the aviation industry, starting out as a Stewardess in 1969, while we were still flying DC-3's. My favorite aircraft is the B-17, that you all remember from the "Memphis Belle". Love the "old flying stories".
