More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about spending time with my family and having fun with friends. I spend a lot of time with friends by playing sports and just going out with them whenever possible for drinks or a ball game. Sometimes I can get passionate about my job, but I mostly enjoy my time away from the office. I've really put an effort in to being a part of my parent's and nephew's life by visiting with them frequently.

I typically spend my leisure time

I like playing soccer and football in organized leagues, going out for drinks with my friends and visiting with my family when I have the chance. I enjoy jogging and run 4 to 5 miles several times a week to relax and get some exercise. I also enjoy just watching a movie, reading a book and avoiding work when I have some free time. Checking out a new museum or restaurant is always fun. Going to the beach and sitting in the sun for hours is a great way for me to relax.

The most influential person in my life has been

Understanding and kindness towards other people are great qualities. Without these I think it is difficult to really form a good relationship. Having a good sense of humor is a must have.

The first thing people notice about me

I don't know, you would have to ask other people! A lot of people do tell me that I'm a nice guy, so perhaps that is what they notice first.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Flying Coulours by C.S. Forester. It's part of the Hornblower series of books about the life of a sailor in the 1800s English Navy. I really like how much action there is in these books and the historical detail. It seemed like a boring topic but I decided to read it anyway. Turns out that this is my favorite set of books.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Great health.
  2. Good job.
  3. Great family.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

People think I am pretty reserved when they first meet me. But, once they get to know me they find out that I am really open and have a great sense of humor.

Friends Describe me as

Genuine, Intelligent, Kind, Respectful

A little more about me

I am a really easy going person. I like my life to be balanced by dedicating a little bit of time to work, having fun and just relaxing. I really like to travel, especially to someplace with a beach and do the tourist things, even right here in DC.
