More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Experiencing life, rather than sitting on the sidelines. A good ride to soothe the soul. Spending time with those important to me. Creating something that others will still enjoy long after I'm gone.

I typically spend my leisure time

Designing, painting, quilting, reading. Flying around to see my kids. Spoiling my grandkids.

The most influential person in my life has been

There are several that carry equal importance. Honesty, sincerity, flexiblity, a sense of humor, and a spirit of adventure just under the crazy meter.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm comfortable with who I am. For some reason, that makes people stop and say hello, even when I don't know them.

The last book I read and enjoyed

A fiction novel about a family from Texas. I enjoyed the family dynamics in it. I read a lot of intense stuff for work, so my "off time" books are usually fiction entertainment books.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My incredible family
  2. Being creative
  3. Being in a career that makes a difference

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Just because I work in Healthcare, doesn't mean I know everything about every ailment, ask your doctor.

Friends Describe me as

Creative, Hard Working, Intelligent, Outgoing

A little more about me

I have never considered myself one of those frilly, girlie girls. I'm far more comfortable having a picnic on the tailgate of a truck somewhere, admiring Mother Nature's splendor, than I could ever be in high heels at some gathering of people all trying to be something they're not. That's not to say I can't dress up, I'd just rather be in jeans.
