The one thing I am passionate about...
music (writing it, listening to it, singing, playing instruments), writing (nearly any kind), making people laugh. i adore getting people to smile and feel better. i also love animals, i wish i could do more for them in my life. hopefully someday! oh, and travel. can't wait to travel all over the world someday; seems a sin to wake up in the same place day after day when there are so many more spots on the planet.
I typically spend my leisure time
music (perusing the music shops, listening to old stuff, getting someone into new stuff, live shows --i live for concerts-- and air guitaring...anything really), tv and movies (they're like a security blanket to me; i love watching marathons of 'scrubs' or 'ghost hunters', and spending three hours in a movie theater is a wonderful afternoon) and driving. i love to drive. don't know why, just do.
The most influential person in my life has been
a sense of humor. life is funny. seriously. :p we all get dealt bad hands (i've had my share of crap land on me) but you have to look past the bad and look at the hilarity. it's everywhere. if you can't laugh, you're missing out big time.
The first thing people notice about me
i get totally lost in my surroundings. i have a bit of a short attention span, and will rock out if there's music, get distracted if there are shiny things, and carry on as many conversations as i can. i'm incredibly sarcastic but humor trumps all in my book.
The last book I read and enjoyed
should i include harry potter? cause these days that honestly sounds like a given. that was wonderful, but as i'm a potter freak, that's not a surprise. right now i'm toggling two books, 'a prayer for owen meany' by john irving and 'unknown quantity: a real and imaginary history of algebra' by john derbyshire. both are fascinating; owen meany is wonderfully spiritual and hilarious with gorgeous language and characters, and the algebra book? delightfully fun and nerdy. functions and equations totally own me.
The three things which I am most thankful for
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
i'm not sure. i put a lot of myself out there because i've had to get over being shy- and if you don't notice a part of me, it's probably because i didn't mean for you to.

A little more about me
hmmm...well, contrary to what this personality profile paints me as, i can be spontaneous and out-of-nowhere. i'm sarcastic as all hell, but deep down i'm a nice person. if you're a harry potter fan, you know what it means when i say i'm in slytherin house (but we're not all evil;). i cook well, dogs that slobber annoy me, i change my hair color every couple of months, and i'm a macintosh user. i think that sums it up, yes?
