The one thing I am passionate about...
My children, their values, and how they have coped in life. I am passionate about personal freedoms and rights, but not at the expense of other peoples. I believe I have good morals and expect others to be honest with both themselves and me. I like my friends, and partner, to be true to me, and never be afraid to say something to me for fear of upsetting me (even if it does).Above all, I'm passionate about my children. Maybe I said that already, but then again, it's my overriding passion in life, even if they are 5000 miles away!!
I typically spend my leisure time
I enjoy tinkering with my Motorcycles that I am renovating. I enjoy puzzle games, things that make me think hard and are difficult to complete. 3D puzzles. I also enjoy surfing the net for further information about anything and everything (Wikipedia is my main bookmark).I go for frequent walks with, and without, my dog. I like to strive out somewhere I have never been before and look for the out-of-the way places to see.
The most influential person in my life has been
Honesty with themselves. Plain and simple. Everything else follows after that
The first thing people notice about me
I am happy, zany and outgoing but hate being the center of attention.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Jeffrey Archer, False Impression. Archer writes the best intelectual thrillers of anyone I have read. Being an ex-politician, he is surprisingly down-to-earth, and shows it in his writings. The book relives different lives affected by the 9/11 events, and one womans determination to beat the odds.I also read Tom Clancy for the thrills and spills 'lighter' side.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Life and Health
- My Children's Health
- My wonderful job
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
For all the time I might appear happy, I can be hurt just as easy as anyone else can. For all my zaniness and being outgoing, I am also a very passionate and private person.
Friends Describe me as
Funny, Hard Working, Intelligent, Outgoing
A little more about me
If and when we chat on the phone, please don't say 'I love your accent' ! It may sound funny, but after a while, I promise you, even my last partner got sick of hearing it every time.I tend to take relationships quite slowly. I need to be sure of someone to let them into my inner circle of friends, and that is where my partner needs to be for my comfort zone.I have deliberately not posted an open photo, as I believe knowing a persons personality first is important, though my photo is available immediately after the first set of asnwered questions. I have, however, opend my Reports for all to see, as they are a true reflection of me.
