More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Making a difference, especially in the lives of children. I want to be a positive role model and if I can help to make a child's life better, I want to do that. I want to make sure everyone has a voice in this world.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love extreme sports, especially trying new ones. During the winter I try and hit the slopes as much as possible. I also enjoy rock climbing and kayaking a lot. Since I have so little free time these days, I like to utilize that time to catch up with friends as much as possible. I also like to rent movies and veg out as well. After a hard week at work or class, being able to do nothing but relax once in a while is a huge plus.

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty- for them to be themselves. It does not matter if you are not the greatest at everything or that you have made mistakes, as long as you are honest with yourself about where you stand and who you are.

The first thing people notice about me

My energy.

The last book I read and enjoyed

My Sister's Keeper. I finally had time to read a non-law related book and loved it. It was about a teenager's legal battle to gain medical emancipation from her parent's who had her to be a donor for their other daughter who had a rare cancer. I really like the stories that have different view points- it gives a better idea of people's motivations and makes it hard to go against anyone when you can empathize with everyone.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family, particularly my mother who has always been there.
  2. The opportunities in life to try new things and push myself.
  3. For being me; I can't imagine being anyone else.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My soft side.

Friends Describe me as
