More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I started my jorney as a thur-hiker on the Appalachaian Trail on March 2005. Each year about 1500 to 2000 people attempt to thru-hike along the trail.Over the years while observing and talking with other "thur-hiker" on the trail, I would always think of the fascination of such an task and wonder if I could undertake such a journey from beginning at Springer Mountain, Georgia all the way crossing 14 states, carrying as much as 45 pound backpack as my life-support system and ending at Mount Katahdin in Maine. This chapter of my life was my most physically and metally challenging ever. I would guess that hiking would be my passion.

I typically spend my leisure time

Hanging out with books, on the beach, hiking the mountains, traveling across the United States/around the World. Visiting museums, helping people when needed, and spending time with family.

The most influential person in my life has been

Friendship is more important, as well as trust.

The first thing people notice about me

My upbeat and easy-going personality. Also, loyal, steadfast, and faithfulness.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Lies my Teacher told me, by James W. Loewen. Basically it the startling truths about the myths and misinformation of American histroy.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Health
  2. Family
  3. Friends

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

How sincere a friend I am which, at times, is taken for granted.

Friends Describe me as

Genuine, Intelligent, Loyal, Thoughtful
