More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I could say theater, music, dance, politics- all things I am passionate about, but what is really important to me are the same character traits I strive to instill in my children: integrity, imagination, compassion, humor and honesty.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy most fine arts including music, theatre and dance. Traveling- either to somewhere remote or an international city is always fun, but sharing an adventurous gourmet meal and stimulating conversation with friends is usually more gratifying than many other activities.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for am emotional grown up.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm articulate and generally have something to say.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just finished "Looking for Mr. Goodfrog" by Laurie Graff. It's a humorous semi-autobiographical narrative of a 45 year old single Jewish woman living in NYC. The title comes from the theory that women aren't looking for a prince anymore. They just want a really good frog. Besides being a great smile, it reminds me that I'm not alone and that things could always be worse. I'm awaiting her next novel- "The Shiksa Syndrome".

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The joy and support I receive from my family
  2. My health and the ability to be as active as I choose
  3. Enough financial security to feel independent

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Most people tend to view me as a very serious person, until they begin to understand my sense of humor.
