More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

How do you narrow it down? I can make a list that potentially might never end: my three pet ferrets, reading anything and everything, all kind of creative ways to express myself, especially writing, shopping, newspapers and magazines, designer purses ... i run the range from very shallow to very deep

I typically spend my leisure time

shop compulsively. read everything i can get my hands on. watch select tv shows (the o.c., veronica mars, desperate housewives, grey's anatomy). all things creative. graphic design. try new foods. go out with friends.

The most influential person in my life has been

there's nothing i can say here that's not a cliche, so i'm just going to roll them out. right now, i'm looking for someone to have fun with. take me out, make me laugh, entertain me. i'm looking for someone to help me find the fun in life again. it's been missing for too long.

The first thing people notice about me

I think I come off as unapproachable and aloof at first glance because i'm sorta shy. I'm reserved around people that I don't yet feel comfortable with, and i know people pick up on that easily. i just need someone who's patient and willing to draw me out. it really doesn't take much.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Constant reader: magazines, novels, newspapers, non-fiction. In the middle of Forever by Pete Hamill, Prozac Nation by Elizabeth Wurtzel (again), and Jonathan Kellerman's latest. i'm addicted to memoirs because i find people fascinating, especially seeing what kind of intimate details of their lives that they put out for the whole world to see. i'm such a private person that i couldn't ever imagine doing that. but i love to read it.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My intelligence and creativity that have been the foundation for any success I've achieved
  2. A family that stands by me and my decisions regardless of whether they agree
  3. The opportunities I have been given

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

that i'm easy to talk to and intelligent. that i like to have a good time. i just need a little time to warm up.

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Good listener, Intelligent, Quiet

A little more about me

I'm just out of college, still getting used to the work world, and looking for someone to do it all with me. I'm done with the bar scene and the kinds of guys you meet at bars, ready to find someone new to connect with for friendship, fun, and whatever else may come along. Gets me hot: perfect AP style. glasses of shiraz. correct grammar and spelling. steamy showers. intelligence. conversation. electronica. car rides at night. secluded tables at dark restaurants. killer headlines. Instant turn-offs: ignorance. intolerance. spelling errors. if my quirks sound intriguing instead of frightening, this could work out well for both of us ...
