More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My passion is for sports. Not in the way a typical fan enjoys sports, but I see sports as one of the larger aspects of our society, so I decided that it is my responsibility to find ways to enhance sports within our society. Sports bring people together over a common cause, no matter how trivial some people may think that it is. That's what makes it so interesting. And just as important is a passion for music... more specifically, timeless music; classical, opera, symphonies, etc. It influences a good portion of my life, and I'd be completely different without it.

I typically spend my leisure time

In the rare chance that I have leisure time, I am watching college football, catching up on the three shows I watch regularly, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "30 Rock" and "How I Met Your Mother." Or I'm exercising and saying to myself that this is going to be the workout that gets me back into my old routine. Which doesn't end up happening.

The most influential person in my life has been

Don't let me overpower a possible relationship. If you let me, I'm going to. You must be able to realize that half of the things that I say are highly-opinionated crap, and you have to call me out on it. A little confidence goes a long way.

The first thing people notice about me

That depends... if I'm talking, then every now and then my Texas accent is very prevalent. If I'm not talking, I have to go with the fact that I'm smiling like 90 percent of the day.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Feeding the Monster" It was a book that took a behind-the-scenes look of the Boston Red Sox front office over the fact 5-6 years. It talked about the building of the World Series team, etc. Remember that "passion" that I have for sports? This is just an example.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Parents
  2. Opportunity
  3. Friends

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Even though I am outgoing and brash, I can be one of the most gentle and sensitive people that you know. But I rarely get the chance to show that side.

Friends Describe me as

Energetic, Intelligent, Outgoing, Passionate
