More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about children and making this world a better place through education. I am also passionate about finding joy and humor in every day. I'm trying to learn to live in the moment and enjoy the little things in life.

I typically spend my leisure time

I think it varies. I've taken up golf and making a genuine effort to learn about wine. I also enjoy the beach, gardening, reading, good music and cathing up with family and friends.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is genuine and funloving, kind, and romantic. I enjoy people who are willing to try new things, travel, and meet new people.

The first thing people notice about me

My upbeat personality, I'm pretty perky, most of the time. Also, most people comment that I look younger than I am and always looking for fun.

The last book I read and enjoyed

My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. It is a novel about the ethics of having a child to be a bone marrow donor for her sibling. It examines the issue fro each participant's point of view. It is really thought provoking.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My children and my family and my friends
  2. Having a job that I love that has meaning and value to me
  3. My own house and my ability to support myself

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I wish people would take the time to get to know me. I try to appear confident and sometimes I think that confidence is misunderstood as arrogannce or aloofness.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Articulate, Creative, Spontaneous

A little more about me

In the process of recently adjusting to online dating I have made some good friendships but I am now ready for a committed relationship.
