More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Movies. I think Martin Scorsese said it best in a television advertisement a few years back: "I think movies *are* our life...because we become those people. We can feel their joy...and their pain. Maybe we learn a little more about the world we live in. And maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe we learn a little more about ourselves." [No kidding -- he said it five times.] I do a lot of thinking in a movie theater.

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading (newspaper and magazines). Going to the movies. Listening to music.

The most influential person in my life has been

Intelligence, by far. I've also found that humor provides amazing insight into a person's intellect. Integrity is a close second.

The first thing people notice about me

The comment I just made probably had something to do with a movie.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I spend most of my pleasure reading time with magazines and The Washington Post. I really enjoy Vanity Fair (which is occasionally the size of a book!) and Esquire. I've started a number of books in the last year (The World is Flat, to name one) but typically lose interest before I finish.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Loving and supportive parents
  2. The closeness of my family
  3. The opportunity to get an extensive education

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

There is a point buried somewhere in the sarcasm.

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Hard Working, Intelligent, Rational

A little more about me

I still think I can make a difference.
