The one thing I am passionate about...
I am most passionate about growing and learning-Self actualization. For years I have been a spiritual seeker examining various beliefs and religions. I find the journey fascinating and never tire of new teachers and ideas, or just delving deeper into something I've studied before. Physical fitness and good health are essential. I walk 15-25 miles weekly, yoga classes 2x/week, Jazzercise, bounce on a mini-trampoline. I love organic raw fruits, vegetables, and nuts-especially prepared gourmet style. Meditation and time to refresh my spiritual connection.
I typically spend my leisure time
I have a very few TV favorites: Boston Legal, West Wing, Alias, 24. Reading, surfing the net, gardening, watching movies, cooking or dining with friends, exploring hiking trails with my dog, watching the wild life in the creek behind my home, studying holistic, alternative health, playing "The Journey to Wild Divine," coloring mandalas
The most influential person in my life has been
Being in touch with his basic innocence, as well as that of others. From this flows kindness, acceptance, spontaneity, joy, forgiveness, freedom, humor ...
The first thing people notice about me
The last book I read and enjoyed
"The Disappearance of the Universe" by Gary Renard is the most recent example of learning something that's not new, but reframed in a way that takes me deeper into understanding how it applies to my own life. Listening to "The Road Less Traveled" and "Simple Abundance" now. Forgiveness is the #1 key to awakening to my enlightenment. It's all an illusion, a dream I've created and I can purposefully recreate it or, better yet, awaken from it. Starting to get interested in studying A Course in Miracles.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Good health
- A hunger for more
- A high level of awareness
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
If they don't notice, they're not supposed to. Those who are, do.
Friends Describe me as
Good listener, Optimistic, Spiritual, Thoughtful
A little more about me
Looking for a man who's a combination of Johnny Depp and Ken Wilbur. Johnny Depp because he's soulful, gentle, kind, and sexy with a boyish sweetness (Don Juan de Marco, Chocolat', Benny and Joon); Ken Wilbur as a spiritual seeker, astute philosopher/writer, humorous, kind and vulnerable ('Grace and Grit'). Did you see Roberto Benigni in Life is Beautiful? He makes the hell of a concentration camp seem like an exciting grand game for his son. Compared to heaven, life is hell but we're free to put whatever spin on events we choose so why not make a game out of it and make it magic!
