More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about doing what you love. I love to travel and experience life outside my comfort zone. Because of this passion, I have been many challenging and wonderful places. It wasn't always easy to prioritize traveling and sometimes it seemed I was making a mistake by leaving the country, but I honestly can say that I wouldn't have it any other way. The experiences I had and the lessons I learned while traveling have shaped who I am today. My travels have led me to understand what is important and to always do what you love. I know I will never be the person who wakes up and dreads going to work.

I typically spend my leisure time

I relax either spending time with friends, doing yoga, napping, watching a movie, going out into nature or daydreaming.

The most influential person in my life has been

I want a partner who is trustworthy, fun-loving, honest, and affectionate.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm funny and it is hard to pull one over on me.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Jon Krakauer's Into Thin Air. His account of trying to summit Mt. Everest was fascinating. No doubt reading the book while camping in front of that enormous mountain added something special. I'm certain I wouldn't have found the book as enthralling had I read it while in the comfort of my Seattle bed. Since completing the book I understand why people become obsessed with climbing such extreme terrain. Before I just thought some people were crazy :)

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The relationship I have with my immediate family.
  2. The opportunities I have had in my life.
  3. My health.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'll have to think about that one.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Genuine, Loyal, Perceptive
