More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Reading and sewing

I typically spend my leisure time

I'm an avid reader and have been known to read throughout the night if the book is a real page-turner.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for someone who is a good communicator.

The first thing people notice about me

People notice my careful speech patterns, which are the result of overcoming the patterns of my childhood when I lived in a Polish ethnic neighborhood in Chicago.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Yesterday I finished "Stone Kiss" by Faye Kellerman, a story about an L.A. detective married to a Jewish woman. He went to N.Y. to help family members unravel a murder and a missing teen. I liked the Jewish cultural background very much because I know very little about this religious group, and I find it facinating to read about its cultural practices.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. health
  2. education
  3. children

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I wish they would notice that I'm a kind and thoughtful person.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Hard Working, Intelligent, Rational

A little more about me

I have worked in Japan for seven and a half years. I've lived in Illinois, Indiana, California, and Louisiana and am currently staying in Texas with my sister due to Hurricane Katrina.
