More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My true passion is helping children. Seeing the look in a childs eyes when they are enjoying learning. I love being able to provide my students with a stable female role model to look up to.

I typically spend my leisure time

I typically spend my leisure time with my family and friends. Be it sitting around talking, going to the movies, attending events around town, shopping or eating. When I have free time, to myself, I love to read and create arts and crafts.

The most influential person in my life has been

What I look for in a guy, he is smart, kind, considerite, likes kids, funny, sweet, nice, dependable, trustworthy, responsible, compasionate, loving, organized, honest, a relationship with god. A guy that smiles when he sees me and is happy to be with me. A one woman guy. Not a player.

The first thing people notice about me

It has been stated to me on many occasions that I am a patient person.Just recently I finished my student teaching. The students were recollecting about my experience in their classroom. One student stated that the one thing she will remember about me is my patients. She then went on to say that she did not have many patient adults in her life outside of school.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book that I have read was Indian Captive. It is a historical fiction about the capture of a white American girl during Colonial times. Her town is attacked by Native Americans. During the ambush her family is captured and separated. The little girl is not harmed. She is adopted by a Native American family. The book is based on the true life story of Mary Jemison.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My Education
  2. My Family
  3. God
