More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My friends and family. Perhaps not the most original answer, but a truthful one. I actually marvel sometimes at how lucky I am to have these people in my life.

I typically spend my leisure time

lately...traveling for work (which i guess does not count as leisure time). otherwise...people watching, cooking, threatening to get a dog, realizing that i like dogs too much to subject one to my small new york apartment and erratic schedule. arguing with my friends about what constiutes a "dog" (i.e. if i can fit it in my carry-on, it's not a Dog), etc

The most influential person in my life has been

intelligence, integrity, kindness

The first thing people notice about me

i don't know if this counts, but people have always assumed that i am several years older than i am. when i was thirteen, i was often asked where i was headed to college--at which point i would try to diplomatically slip in some referenece to "my recent 7th grade graduation."

The last book I read and enjoyed

i liked "a heart breaking work of staggering genius" started "devil in the white city" and "we wish to inform you" and "1776". yeah multiple books...Also, there is apparently some sort of 30th dimension you all seem to be matching to me on, which is that you're ALL reading the davinci code!

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. loving my job (most days)
  2. my loving family and friends (everyday)
  3. chicago and new york

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

when i'm in a room full of people that i don't know, i tend to observe...to be quiet. i've been told that this comes off as disinterested or intimidating. not that i care (kidding).

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Good listener, Intelligent, Loyal
